Global Tracker DG-100 เป็นอุปกรณ์บันทึกข้อมูลการเดินทาง (data logger) ด้วยสัญญาณดาวเทียม ประกอบด้วยอุปกรณ์รับสัญญาณGPSภายในตัวเครื่องที่กระทัดรัดทำให้ DG-100 ครบเครื่องในเรื่องของการใช้งานที่หลากหลาย และคุ้มค่า DG-100 จะบันทึก วัน เวลา ความเร็ว ความสูง และพิกัดตำแหน่ง ตามช่วงเวลาที่ตั้งไว้ ด้วยความสามารถของ SiRF star III Chipset จะบันทึกเส้นทางทั้งหมดด้วยความแม่นยำอย่างยิ่ง

ข้อมูลที่บันทึกมาทั้งหมดสามารถถ่ายโอนไปยังคอมพิวเตอร์ได้โดยง่ายผ่านUSB สะดวกในการดูบันทึกย้อนหลังง่าย ๆ เพียงแค่ต่อ DG-100 เข้ากับคอมพิวเตอร์แล้วถ่ายโอนข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมที่รวมอยู่ในชุด ผู้ใช้ก็สามารถดูข้อมูลที่บันทึกทาง Google Earth หรือ Google Map แบบอัตโนมัติ หรือแผนที่ offline อื่นๆได้ เช่น MapSource, Bangkok Guide เป็นต้น

นอกจากนั้นยังสามารถโหลดข้อมูลเข้าสู่ Server ของทาง Global5 เพื่อดูข้อมูลบนแผนที่ และรายงานในรูปแบบต่างๆเช่น จุดจอด จุดแวะเยี่ยม ระยะทางของการดินทางเป็นช่วงๆหรือทั้งหมด พฤติกรรมการขับรถ การสร้างจุดสนใจเองบนแผนที่ และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย ผ่านทาง web service โดยไม่ต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน ดูรายละเอียดเพิ่มที่นี่

GlobalSat DG-100 is a GPS data logger. With a GPS logger and antenna built in a miniature construction, DG-100 features an all-in-one, cost-effective GPS logger solution. The DG-100 records time, date, speed, altitude and GPS location at preset intervals. Based on the SiRF star III chipset, DG-100 offers accurate position tracking capabilities.

All recorded GPS information can be downloaded to the computer. It is a convenient, economical way for later review of your recorded histories. Simply connect the DG-100 to your PC or Notebook, and then download the track-log to your PC for use with Windows based software utility. User can easily export the recorded points to Google Earth and Google Maps.

Moreover, the recorded data can be uploaded to Global5 web server so that all the driving patterns and reports such as site visiting report, over speed report and much more can be monitored on line. You can save the monthly tariff of GPRS service. Please see more detail here.
